Zumba for MS

Multiple sclerosis stops people from moving, but in a defiant response, the G Team is doing just the opposite. The G Team; Good People, Doing Good Things, is hosting a Zumba fundraiser for the 2011 Travelers Walk MS, presented by North American Power. The Zumba for MS fundraising event takes place Saturday, March 19, at World Fitness Studio in Monroe from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Wristbands on sale at World Fitness Studio $20 per person donation
Includes Zumba class with Jordana Bross Bell, Licensed Zumba® Instructor & Zumba Jammer.
Special Appearance by DJ Rob Newberry, Connecticut’s the most coveted DJ in Fairfield County
Refreshments and Raffle

Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary,participants do not have to have World Fitness membership

A little bit about Good People, Doing Good Things. and why the G Team was formed.

I started this blog because of my husband Eddie. He has MS. Thankfully, he is living well with his MS. But there may come a day where he won't. We want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because we want to do everything possible to help. Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with a diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability. This blog is to talk about our experiences.

The G Team hopes to expand our efforts in the future to not only help those with MS but to help others who need a few Good People to help them in thier cause as well. In the years to come we hope to grow in giving back to our communities.
