Zumba® for MS 2012

Our Second Annual Zumba® for MS event was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out to Shake It For a Cause! We raised $2137 for the Connecticut MS Society. The event was held on February 26, 2012 at 1691 Cafe/Lounge in Bridgeport, CT.

We like to thank our wonderful and amazing instructors: Heatherly Law, Elisa Irizarry, Diana Figueroa, Jackie Vasquez, Gabby Molina and Nina Merlonghi. Without your help, energy and positive spirit this event would not have happened.

Welcome

A little bit about Good People, Doing Good Things. and why the G Team was formed.

I started this blog because of my husband Eddie. He has MS. Thankfully, he is living well with his MS. But there may come a day where he won't. We want to do something for the people who have been diagnosed - and because we want to do everything possible to help. Today, there is no cure for multiple sclerosis, and with a diagnosis occurring most frequently between the ages of 20 and 50, many individuals face a lifetime filled with unpredictability. This blog is to talk about our experiences.

The G Team hopes to expand our efforts in the future to not only help those with MS but to help others who need a few Good People to help them in thier cause as well. In the years to come we hope to grow in giving back to our communities.
